My new life as a WIFE!

It's been a whirlwind over the last few months, but life couldn't be better.  

As you may know.... I married my best friend -- sweet Michael -- on April 30th!  It truly was the best day ever.  

I was overwhelmed with so much joy as we had friends and family from ALL four corners of the country celebrate with us in the heart of downtown Raleigh.  

One of my friends drove 12 hours from Miami to be there!! 

The ceremony was a dream come true.  Most of our memories together unfolded in the City of Oaks, making it the perfect backdrop for life's most important milestone.  Enjoy!


  

My uncle was our officiant.  The ceremony couldn't be more perfect!  I'm forever grateful.

I dreamed of this moment my whole life... and I must say, dreams really do come true!  

Remember -- always think positive and wish for the best, because life is absolutely beautiful.

Wedding Day Countdown: My favorite florals

The countdown to my wedding day is ON!  (23 days...ekk!)  Right now it's all about buttoning up the final details and making sure my vision becomes a reality on April 30th!  Lately I've been dreaming in shades of pinks and purples.  My wedding colors are lavender and gold... but after hearing the 2016 color of the year was Rose Quartz, I knew I needed a pop of pink to tie it all together.  I could stare at these images all day long.  Florals will forever be my favorite!

I love how social media makes it convenient for you to reflect on your best memories from the previous year... It's always fun to look back on the highlights from the last 12 months! 

I espeically love the Instagram summary of the "best nine" pics from 2015.... and while this may be my best nine... something tell me next year will be a perfect ten :)

Time really does fly when you're having fun!

I must admit -- it's been an amazing year with major milestones that I only dreamed would come true.  

I'm engaged to an incredible man and in exactly FOUR months I'll be a married woman!  

It was a perfect April afternoon when M popped the question at Duke Gardens (one of our favorite spots!) and my life motto was proven once again that dreams really do come true!

As much as I've enjoyed the wedding planning process so far, I realized now is the time to document the fun that goes into it.  Please continue to join me in my journey down the aisle.  

It will truly be a walk to remember.

FASHION: Fab'rik Denim Dinner

It's not everyday one of your favorite boutiques asks you to dinner... 

....so I couldn't resist an invitation to the Fab'rik denim dinner to get an exclusive look at their fall line!

Not only did they treat us to a delicious meal, but they showcased every jean they have in stock.

I must say, over the years I've acquired quite the denim collection, and I tell myself I have a purpose for every pair.  

However, this gave me an chance to learn about the fit and function of the other brands out there.  

It took my knowledge to the next level.

I've heard of DL1961, but after seeing them on the runway that night I needed to try them.  Let's just say, I am in LOVE. (and I'm not the only one!)

I also got a pair of Paige jeans which brought me back to my college days.  I remember when Paige jeans just came out, now years later, the textures have "transcended" into the softest denim I've ever worn.

I got a pair of the Verdugo ankle jeans which have quickly become my everyday pair.  The fit is a little looser but still slimming, which is nice for running around town.

Now for the good stuff!
