Many of you have been asking me for a blog update, so here it is!
After taking a bit of a hiatus amidst the whirlwind that came with the holidays, I'm back on the blog!
Boy do I have a lot of catching up to do!
We'll start with the most recent and exciting event I had the pleasure of attending:
More than 3,500 people filled ALL levels of the Raleigh Convention Center for a night of dancing, dining, and top notch entertainment.

This was part of three days of festivities to welcome our new Governor, Pat McCrory, to the Capital City and celebrate the best that North Carolina has to offer.
All of the food, wine, and entertainment had roots to the Tar Heel state.

People from all over North Carolina were there to indulge in an evening of pure glamour. I met people from Charlotte, Wilmington, and Greensboro!

For me, this was also a chance to dust off the ol' ball gown and wear yet another glittery frock. (I've had to put all of my fun dresses away since the holidays wound down. *sigh*)
Now I need to find another ball to attend, or at least another chance to get dolled up in my absolute best.

I enjoy exploring new cities, then sharing the treasures I find with others. I'm a connector and a believer. I think cupcakes make the world go 'round and could live off mac & cheese. It brings me joy to make others smile. I thrive off laughter, love, and good conversation. I'm a bit of a fashion bug who always supports the little guy. I like to inspire people to dream big and LIVE LARGE.

I love your dress, Linnie! It reminds me of the one Kate Hudson wore in How to Lose a Guy in 10 days. Looks like it was a fun event :)
ReplyDeleteHello!!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear from you! Your comment is encouraging me to blog more -- I appreciate the compliment! I bought the dress years ago for that reason exactly: it reminded me of Kate Hudson's gown from the movie!
Hope you're having a lovely new year!!
