What's a vacation without the delicious eats?
Get a scoop of some of the tasty treats I indulged in during my trip.
DRINK:
I got the chance to visit my dear friend Gabe at Caffe Torino near downtown.

The cappuccinos are so cute! Almost too cute to drink.
EAT:
My fellow fashion blogger and new friend Amanda introduced me to the Tom Douglas restaurant chain. I was so excited to have the chance to meet up with her at Lola for lunch! (By the way, you have to check out her blog {here})

If you make it there, try the kebabs... (I enjoyed the salmon one, since it's prime in the Pacific NW)

I LOVE mac and cheese. I could probably eat it every day. You have to go to Beecher's at the Pike Place Market. They're known for their cheese and make it right before your very eyes. The best part is, you can take it to-go. Very convenient if you're caught up in the hustle and bustle of the city.
It's amazing, sheer heaven. (They also have a spicy version of their mac and cheese for all the the spicy lovers out there!)
Anyway, that's the last of my tour de Seattle (for now!)
When it comes to your favorite cities, where are your favorite places to dine?
Let me know!
XO

I enjoy exploring new cities, then sharing the treasures I find with others. I'm a connector and a believer. I think cupcakes make the world go 'round and could live off mac & cheese. It brings me joy to make others smile. I thrive off laughter, love, and good conversation. I'm a bit of a fashion bug who always supports the little guy. I like to inspire people to dream big and LIVE LARGE.

Those salmon kabobs look amazing and I love your fur vest!
ReplyDeleteHey!! Yes, they were amazing -- and fur vests are so much fun. It's an easy way to add a fun flair to almost any outfit!

DeleteLinnie, you went to a few of my favorite places to eat Lola and Beechers. Next time you should have seafood, you really cant beat any of the amazing sushi restaurants here.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great time.
Hi Alix!
DeleteThe food in Seattle is fantastic! I must admit, I didn't have enough seafood while I was there. What is your favorite sushi restaurant?
