A dream realized.

I remember when I was a little girl living in Los Angeles.

My Mom went to Atlanta for business and sent a postcard to me with this picture:

She told me to keep the dream alive.

A true promoter of positivity, Dr. King changed a world filled with hate through the power of love.

On this day, I thought it would be nice to share some of my favorite quotes by Dr. King.

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.

We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this, we are less prone to hate our enemies.

A lie cannot live.

Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.

I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.

In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.

Now, I have one question for you.
How are you going to change the world for the better?
