MUSIC: Hopscotch Fest 2012

After spending Labor day in Nashville, I've been all about seeking out live music.

That's why I'm SO happy HOPSCOTCH Fest was this weekend.  It helped me cope with my post-Nashville blues, since I'm still easing back into reality.

Here are a few scenes from downtown Raleigh during all the fun!

THE ROOTS were the headliners of the three day festival.  They were OUTSTANDING!  This group definitely knows how to put on a good show!

Fayetteville St was packed!  We lucked out and were just 7 rows away from the stage.  [photo by: Andrea]

There was so much music to soak up in downtown Raleigh.

Restaurants, auditoriums, and streets were filled with various artists rocking out all day and into the night.

Here's a few pics of us hopping around Hopscotch.

As a first timer at Hopscotch, I'm enlightened.

Next year I'll have to invest in the day pass so I can just move from venue to venue with ease...

Until then, I'll be listening to the sweet tunes from the festival on spotify.

  1. Funny, I think Nashville must make everyone that way! Glad you enjoyed Hopscotch! Wish I could've made it.
