New York Fashion Week may be over, but Raleigh is definitely rolling out the red carpet for fashionistas this week with two super fun fashion shows!
Upcycled Fashion on Thursday:
bevello sure knows how to put on a great show! I had the best time at their "pop of color" event last spring. Now, they're adding some NC State designers to the mix. They're taking leftover merchandise and turning it into something new. Cool concept.
Cocktails and Couture on Saturday:
Not only am I excited to see the latest trends from some of my favorite boutiques in town (ie: fab'rik), but this event will feature the premiere collection from up and coming designer, Amy Gray. She told me about her vision a few months back, now I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product!
The best part of all is that BOTH events support the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, a non profit organization dedicated to raising money to fight women's cancers.
What a perfect way to kick of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
So, now the big question is... Who's coming with me?!
I enjoy exploring new cities, then sharing the treasures I find with others. I'm a connector and a believer. I think cupcakes make the world go 'round and could live off mac & cheese. It brings me joy to make others smile. I thrive off laughter, love, and good conversation. I'm a bit of a fashion bug who always supports the little guy.
