TRAVEL: Viva Las Vegas!

This summer has been a blast!  

I've been so caught up in enjoying the moment that I've been on a bit of a blogger hiatus!  

The good news is, I'M BACK!  

I just returned from a week in Las Vegas with one of my closest friends, Mario, and I have TONS of fun details to share!

Friends Forever

It was my first time there.  I've been hearing the hype about "sin city" for years, but being Miami girl, I thought the scene would just be more of the same... boy was I wrong!

Vegas is a such a unique city, unlike anything I've ever experienced.  Yes, there are some similarities to Miami (ie: fun times, grand hotels, night life, hot weather, palm trees, the list goes on...) however, the bright lights and decadence of the strip is really something to see.

Simply driving up the strip was hands down one of my favorite activities.  Mario surprised me by renting a convertible, and I'm incredibly happy he did.  Crusing around town with the top down is a must.

If you make it out there, here's what you need to do: 

Make a splash at a pool party
Most hotels have gorgeous pools that are perfect for getting that rest and relaxation needed between nights out on the town. 

Get lucky at a casino

Set aside some cash and have a ball, you never know... you could hit the jackpot!  

Hotel hop on the strip

The hotels that line the strip are out of this world!  Take time to walk through the lobbies, don't forget to have a nice meal while you're there... The food is Vegas is amazing!

All I have to say is "Thanks Mario" for being the best tour guide and friend a girl could ask for.  

I can't wait to go back.  Who's coming with me?!
