DISCOVER: Durham's Rock Quarry Park

You know summer is here when lazy weekends turn into fun adventures.

Carter recently introduced me to Durham's Rock Quarry at Eno River State Park.

It's an all natural swimming hole with waters so deep you can dive in.

The quarry is gorgeous.  The lush greenery and cool water made me feel like I escaped to never neverland.

Though I enjoyed floating in the water, I was too nervous to jump off the cliffs into the basin.
However, I was able to catch a few dare devils on camera making the plunge!

I look forward to going back, but this time I'll be armed with inner tubes and floaties since the water is more than 60 feet deep.

Can't wait to return before the summer's end.  Who's with me?
