The Wine Feed was all abuzz last Friday. 

 

The Wine Feed hosts a wine tasting every First Friday

I'm really glad Carly convinced me to go out for a bit.  We started off at The Carter Building (what else is new?!) and then made our way down to The Wine Feed.

I've been to The Wine Feed before for a private event (see: blogger's night out), but this time I really had the chance to see the place in action.  Amazing.

Every time I go, I walk away with so much more knowledge than before.  There's tons to learn! (as you can probably tell from all of the notes I took)  

I have a strong appreciation for wine (thanks Mom!) and you should too!  

Here are my favorite picks from the evening. 

Sant'Evasio Moscato d'Asti:  

 

I fell in LOVE with this sparking white that truly leaves you wanting more.  It's sweet with hints of honey and vanilla.  I'm putting this on my wish list for next time.

 

 

Lini 910, Lambrusco: 

 
I couldn't resist going home with this Italian red.  It's light and crisp.  A perfect wine for summer and great when served slightly chilled.  I'm waiting for a special occasion to pop this one open.
