FOOD: banana bread sunday .

I felt ambitious this Sunday morning and made chocolate chip banana bread before work. 

fresh out of the oven.

It really wasn't an option since Vanessa and I had some bananas that were seeing their last days, and I HATE throwing out food.  (waste not, want not!)


It was really easy to do, took only 30 minutes, and turned into the perfect treat for my pals (and me)!

The secret: 


OK, so this recipe is really for banana muffins, but I was short on time and just poured the whole mix into cake pans... (no one will know the difference!)


Also, don't worry if you don't have baking powder.  We just had baking SODA and it turned out alright.


Chocolate lovers: Add cinnamon and chocolate chips for fun.  They'll be extra sweet and irresistible. 

They ended up getting rave reviews!
